MEET ANNA

Hello, I’m Anna — a womenswear designer, founder, and Creative Director of Emilia Mala.

Born in Finland and based in London, I have over a decade of experience in the premium and high-end womenswear sector, specialising in ready-to-wear multi-product collections, swimwear, lingerie, and print-led design.

My background combines fine art and fashion design. I studied fine art before completing BA Womenswear Design at Ravensbourne University London and an MA at Central Saint Martins.

Throughout my career, I have worked with established fashion houses including Agent Provocateur, Jens Laugesen, Véronique Branquinho, A.F. Vandevorst, Les Chiffoniers alongside consulting for emerging and contemporary brands across product development, design direction, and creative strategy.

In 2017, I founded Emilia Mala, a London-based brand focused on narrative-led print and visual storytelling, which I continue to lead as Creative Director. Alongside this, I provide creative services across design, development, production, illustration, and print direction.
