Sustainable Bodywear, Modular Product Expansion & Creative Directon of Emilia Mala

Building on the swimwear and ready-to-wear foundations, I developed a sustainable bodywear collection using ECONYL regenerated nylon, extending the brand into a more functional, performance-led category. The range included swimwear and leggings, designed as part of a cohesive modular wardrobe system.

The collection acted as a bridge between scarves and ready-to-wear, reinterpreting scarf prints into placement graphics and coordinating them with original scarf designs to create layered, interchangeable looks. This approach expanded the function of the scarf beyond accessory, integrating it into complete outfit construction.

I led the design and development of the range, including print design and development, product direction, and range planning. I also directed campaign shoots and created the full suite of visual assets, ensuring the collection translated into a cohesive commercial offering suited to e-commerce, where coordinated styling and modular product storytelling were central.
